dEMOLITION DAY #2 - 10-16-2021
On October 16, 2021, volunteers spent Demo Day #2 continuing to clear out the second floor of Oviatt House.
Remaining non-original walls were torn down along with the removal of old plumbing fixtures and pipe. With the second-floor now open, the original floorplan is revealed which is necessary to plan the interior restoration.
On the first floor, volunteers stripped old plaster from the inside of the non-original side entry, revealing the original exterior siding and location of a hidden door opening - an exciting find!!
