Work Day - 4-2-2022
On April 2, 2022, a group of volunteers continued our demolition efforts toward bringing the Oviatt House back to its original state. These hard-working individuals removed the linoleum kitchen floor, removed kitchen cabinets, cleared debris from the original chimney, removed drywall from a ceiling and removed crumbling insulation from around the fireplace.
On the outside, a new temporary electric pole was installed. Ohio Edison will soon connect it to the electric grid and we will have electricity available to the Oviatt House!
