Work Week - 4-17-2023
A fantastic group of volunteers worked hard installing our new hardwood flooring this week. We accomplished a lot in just two days of work.
The new flooring was custom manufactured and donated by Ohio Hardwood & Upholstered Furniture. It was made to the exact size of existing flooring from the 1940's that covered half of the first floor. The new flooring was tied in with the existing flooring to create a seamless transition.
Notice the slots of missing flooring in the last two photos? That is where we will soon put up walls in the exact locations they originally existed when the Oviatt house was build in 1836.
